Come along and hear what’s been happening at St Conan’s.
Find out how the National Lottery Heritage Project is developing and also about work supported by other funders. Take a guided tour around the building to hear what’s proposed.
One of our stained glass windows has been sent for repair: watch a demo of what will be done.
In the Cloister see a demo of how lime mortar is applied in the traditional way.
Weather permitting, we will run guided tours of the garden, highlighting recent projects and plans. Ideas welcome!
Also on display will be the entries for this year’s St Conan’s Cup: 4 local Primaries took part.
Linked to this is a small exhibition of boats on the loch in the late 19th and 20th centuries.
Information too on other heritage projects.
Our guides will be on hand at various points of particular interest in the building to tell you all about them.
We are also keen to hear your thoughts about future activities in the crypt. ideas from children very welcome.
Hot drinks, scones, biscuits and home baking will also be on offer! Take a seat and relax.
