Friends prepare in inaugural Open Day 16th and 17th August
This weekend sees the inaugural open day at St Conan’s Kirk where visitors can enjoy a range of activities:
- Guided tours of the Kirk hourly – an introduction to the origins and quirks of this amazing building and why your help is needed.
- Live theatre with the Three Wee Crows – two plays twice daily.
- Quiz for children – lots of fun and a great way to discover secrets of the Kirk.
- Art and craft exhibition.
- Tea, coffee and home baking.
- Exhibition and sale of work from Argyll artists – an opportunity to see wonderful local talent and purchase an original artwork.
- Local Primary Schools’ Art Competition and Exhibition – the winner will be announced on Saturday.

All monies raised over the weekend will go directly to restoring and maintaining the Kirk.
