Friends prepare in inaugural Open Day 16th and 17th August

This weekend sees the inaugural open day at St Conan’s Kirk where visitors can enjoy a range of activities:

  1. Guided tours of the Kirk hourly – an introduction to the origins and quirks of this amazing building and why your help is needed.
  2. Live theatre with the Three Wee Crows – two plays twice daily.
  3. Quiz for children – lots of fun and a great way to discover secrets of the Kirk.
  4. Art and craft exhibition.
  5. Tea, coffee and home baking.
  6. Exhibition and sale of work from Argyll artists – an opportunity to see wonderful local talent and purchase an original artwork.
  7. Local Primary Schools’ Art Competition and Exhibition – the winner will be announced on Saturday.
