Give & Support

St Conan’s Kirk is a unique building. The Kirk is owned by the St Conan’s Church Trust which is an independent charity responsible for all the running costs, conservation, maintenance and repair costs. It has no regular income from the government, church or any other body. The Friends of St Conan’s Kirk SCIO are responsible for promotion of arts, culture and education. They are also responsible for developing a mutually supportive relationship with the local and wider community. They also contribute to the restoration and maintenance of St Conan’s.

We need your help and your support to keep this wonderful building open and thriving, and to help us in our conservation efforts to ensure its future for generations to come. There are a number of ways you can get involved in supporting Sr Conan’s Kirk.

  1. VolunteerVolunteers are the lifeblood of the Kirk and are crucial in all aspects including maintenance, fundraising and events.
  2. Attend one of our events. Successful events need participants and audience support.
  3. Become a Friend. A strong Friends organisation shows potential funders the depth of interest and support in the local and wider community.
  4. Donate. Donations from individuals, groups and families are vital to maintain and run the Kirk. They also provide the match funding many grant awarding bodies require.
