Marek Kochmanski Piano Recital – Sunday 22nd October, 2.30pm



An afternoon of fine piano works presented in the charismatic surroundings of St Conans Kirk, by the acclaimed concert pianist, Marek Kochmanski. The afternoon will be complemented by cream teas served after the performance, at no extra charge.

Ticket price £8 (£6 for Friends of St Conan’s Kirk). Children 10 and under, free. Tickets available on the door.

Marek Kochmanski was born in Poland in 1981. From the age of 7 he was taking private piano lessons and went on to study music at University of Silesia in Katowice from where he graduated B.Mus in 2005 as a pianist, composer and educator.

Marek moved to Scotland in 2006 since than he has been teaching music and playing recitals in Poland and Scotland. In 2015 he won First Prize in Lady Fermoy Piano competition, part of the Highlands and Islands Music and Dance Festival in Oban.

His performances concentrate on classical music and his skills at improvisation.
