A new handrail installed on exterior steps leading to the library. It is still to be painted black but the handrail is the missing link to allow safe access to the library. Three new path have been installed, replacing worn and uneven “short cuts” such as the image above We are grateful to Argyll and Bute community payback management and individuals who helped build the new path to the the East of the kirk,.In future as well as relaying some more uneven steps we would like to install a small number of handrails, to help as many people as possible to be able to access the gardens.
