Successful Spring Clean!
Over the weekend of 16th and 17th May, enthusiastic volunteers from the Friends of St Conan’s Kirk gathered at the kirk for two days of spring cleaning.
Jobs that were tackled included window cleaning, woodwork polishing, dusting, and, outside in the garden, painting and clearing unwanted vegetation.
The Friends of St Conan’s Kirk was established around a year ago to support the kirk’s trustees by promoting the kirk as a tourism and events venue, as well as in the upkeep of the kirk. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers for their hard work over the ‘Spring Clean’ weekend. The kirk is now sparkling and will continue to welcome the many visitors who pass through to enjoy Walter Campbell’s architectural masterpiece, as well as those who will be attending any of the events that are coming up over the next few months – see our events calendar for further information.
