Architectural Services Tender 2023
As part of the ongoing conservation and development of St Conan’s Kirk we were successful in a submission to National Lottery Heritage Fund for a project to create new spaces, resolve roof leaks and other issues and grow the kirk’s role in the health, wellbeing and heritage engagement of a wide range of people.
The NLHF Stage 1 award covers the development of the project to allow submission of a further application for the Delivery Phase. Based on advise received we are looking to appoint a team to provide Architectural Services for both the development and delivery phases.
The tender process shall be carried out in accordance with NLHF guidelines for contracts with a value over £50,000. Additionally a Conservation accredited architect must form a part of the team.
At this stage we are requesting a note of interest from interested parties. Once received access to the invitation to tender document and supporting document shall be provided via a dedicated webpage

Pre-Tender applications submitted by 12noon 21/12/2023
There is an opportunity for site visit prior to this date. The building is normally open 9am – 5pm however by arrangement access to roof, crypt and other secured areas are available.
Selected Bidders
Following the selection process it is proposed to offer an bidders meeting at 2pm of 11/01/24 (final date TBC). Attendance is optional and a summary of queries and responses will be provided. It will be via Zoom. As before opportunities for site visit are available.
Tender returns must be submitted by 09/02/2024 12 noon

Timescales
The overall timescales of the development phase are set to meet the conditions of the NLHF program with the works planned for 2024. Subject to a successful grant award the Delivery Phase would be carried our during 2025-2027.
