Currently we have a retired minister who can marry you or you may wish to have your own Minister to marry you. A wedding conducted by a minister must “ by law” be a faith based celebration.

The Registrar and Humanist Celebrants cannot marry in St Conan’s.

Your Argyll Wedding at St Conan’s

With stunning interior and exterior locations the cost to hire the church as your Argyll wedding venue will be £400 this gives you exclusive use of the church for the ceremony for two hours.  This includes the hire of the church the heating and lighting and red carpet.  The minister expenses should be paid direct to them.

Payment of the hire of the church should be paid a month prior to wedding date, an email will be sent with payment details along with a gift aid form. All monies go to the restoration of the church.

If for any reason there is a cancellation a full refund will be made.

You must register your marriage 29 days before date, if you are not a british citizen allow 6 to 8 weeks. If you need help contact our local  registrar in Oban. You must ensure you have the marriage schedule in order for you to marry.

Music – you may arrange to have your own music, we have an organist if available, pipers available,

Flowers – they can be delivered to the church on morning of the wedding , Florists are available in Oban or Inveraray or you may have your own.

Disability – If a relative or friend at the wedding is disabled in anyway, let us know so that we can make arrangements that we can make their participation in your big day as easy as possible for them.
